Laybuy can no longer be used to pay at Lazurby, or at any other UK shop. If you came here looking for Laybuy, you can still spread the cost of your order with Klarna or Clearpay at checkout.

What happened to Laybuy?

Laybuy, a buy now, pay later company from New Zealand, entered receivership in June 2024 after it could not find a buyer. It stopped taking new purchases and new sign-ups for all customers worldwide.

In August 2024, Klarna agreed to buy Laybuy's New Zealand business. The UK side of Laybuy was not part of that deal, so Laybuy has not come back as a payment option in the UK.

I still owe money on a Laybuy order. What should I do?

Keep paying your instalments as normal. Ending the service did not cancel money already owed, and missed payments can still lead to late fees and be reported to credit reference agencies. If you are unsure what you owe, contact Laybuy or the company managing your account using the details in your Laybuy emails.

How can I pay later at Lazurby now?

Both are independent payment providers and decide for themselves whether to approve a payment. Please spend responsibly and make sure you can keep up with repayments.
